HELP! My mom put a CD upside down into the CD changer
Like it states, my mom threw in a CD into the changer not even realizing it was upside down. The changer will still load and eject CD's put doesn't play anything. I would hate to take it to the Acura dealership and pay a buttload. Its an '05 with the Nav unit too. Thanks for any help guys

get a crap cd that you don't plan on keeping, stick it in about an inch of the cd player of the with the cd player on the disc that is upside down. repeatedly hit the eject button. wiggling the disposable cd around the opening about an inch in might get it to eject.
that doesn't work pull it apart and pull it out best you can.
replacements aren't that expensive from eHay and i doubt you damage anything.

Sorry for the confusion, I think I wrote this the wrong way. There's no CDs in the changer. The cd player won't play CDs anymore. The screen just shows track #1 blinking repeatedly without any ability to fast forward a track.
Thank you for the help though. It's bound to help someone else.

so have you tried ejecting it.....
but i don't know with the 6-disc changer ones but alot of times if you look inside the slot, there is a bar or something on each side (looking into the slot itself) that will manually eject the CD out, sorry can't be more specific
alot of times the local car audio place will know how to do said trick above (and don't forget get to tip them either, especially if they do it for free too, litially will take them probably 2 minutes MAX)

so then the upside down cd came out then...
then trying disconnecting the radio completely from the battery (disconnecting the battery works too, but the ecu has to relearn everything too though), and don't forget to have the radio and navi codes handy also, to unlock them once power is reconnected

I don't know a fix but maybe to help clarify for others:
Your mom put the cd in upside down. All cd's have been ejected properly. But now, when you put a cd in properly, you get no sound.
Is the accurate?
If you have your radio/xm codes, I would try the battery disconnect reset as has been mentioned. Leave it disconnected for awhile.
