Help! with my audio setup decision

I have been reading through the threads for audio setups. I currently have, but not installed, from my old car, a JL Audio 12w6v2 & a JL Audio 450/4 amp. For economical purposes what is the best setup while staying in budget. Of course my budget is to spend the least amount of money but also trying to keep the system as clean as possible without taking too much room in trunk. Here are scenarios that you may choose from: Sell my JL 12w6v2 & JL 450/4 and spend that money on a new 1. stock sub replacement, i.e. JL Audio 8w3v2; or 2. the Infinity Basslink II; or 3. keep the JL w6v2 and the 450/4 amp and just spend the money on component speakers. OR 4. any combination of the items listed. Thanks in advance for your input!

Bump! Thanks for voting in my poll, but zero responses =(. lol anyways does anyone have a similar setup with stock speakers. I was just wondering how much will a JL 12w6v2 drain out the sound of the stock speakers or is it best just to replace the speakers? Sames goes with the JL 8w3v2 with stock speakers, how well does that setup work?. Thanks. Respond please =)!

i am running a 12w7 I had a custom box made so that the sub would fit behind the rear fenderwell. doesn't take up much room and sounds great imho.
in my old tl i had the amp under the driver seat so it was just the sub box not the sub and the amp rack that are in the picture.

^^did you change your internal speakers like components and such or did you leave them stock? And if you left them stock how did it sound? Did it drain the internal speakers drastically?

I am still running the stock interior speakers with the factory sub disconnected. imho (but it could be my imagination) the factory speakers seemed to have gained a bit of power when the factory sub was disconnected. so, they are enough for me.
