Help with LED door light not working

My GF has an 06 Accord. I tried looking on the Honda forums, but AZ seems to be the shit.
Anyway, I replaced her door courtesy lights with 12LED wedge bulbs from V-LEDs. She told me the driver's side was blinking intermittently so I went to check it out. It appeared that the bulb was loose in the wedge socket, so I tried to crimp the socket down tighter to hold the bulb. Now, the bulb won't light at all. I have checked the fuses (#6 near drivers feet, 7.5A fuse) and it is fine. All other lights work normally. Replaced the bulb with a known good unit and still doesn't work. It is only the drivers side door light socket that does not work.
Anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting?

LED's are a one way circuit. Did you try turning the bulb around?

^yes, I was aware of the one-way thing. Makes no difference.

I'm having the same problem with mine. pull the light and see if any of the metal prongs on the bulb have been damaged. Mine were not touching within the wedge; a little finesse and careful prying made it work perfectly.

I tried that, too. I think I need to hit it with a multi-meter or I can try the stock incandescent bulb to see if I even have power at the socket. From there, it would be a mtter of tracing where the power is. I love electrical problems. Not.
