I was looking to purchase an Isimple or USA Aspec bluetooh system to install in my car. I heard that you can simply unplug the xm radio in the trunk of the car and plug in the isi,ple or aspec. Is this true? Also will I be able to see the music names on my navi system and control it, when I do it this way?

I'm not sure where it plugs in but yes you can get text though the XM window on your navi or on your radio. buttons 1-6 control playlists too. buttons on steering work. Not sure about bluetooth.

I just got the BT45-HON3 and it took me literally 10 minutes to hook it up and pair my phone. Unhook all the carpeting on the right rear - XM device is on the right middle side - feel for the 2 wires under to find the larger on the right (white one)..if you cant undo the cord while its mounted undo the 3 bolts for the XM device to slide it free. Hook up the Y splitter that is included with either device you choose - bolt the XM back down - grab some 2 sided tape or velcro and stick the device in a secure spot you like and button it back up.

Steering wheel controls work and I see the data in the clock area - I assume it shows on the nav screen but mine is still dead.

Okay. One more Question. If i Install a bluetooth kit will I still be able to use my hands free calling that orginally came with the car at the same time?

At same time? Good question, I'm sure they can both be linked at same time, not sure if they can function at same time.
