Help....I need a part # for a V1 custom install
I currently have my V1 hardwired in the upper left hand corner of the windshield and the remote display in the bottom compartment in the center stack. Everything is neat and tidy but I want to do a custom install for the remote display.
I want to move the remote display to the plastic cover that fits over the 3 gauge pods on the instrument panel. I need the part number for the plastic cover. I plan on modifing the indicators from the V1 remote to fit in the plastic cover ( custom install ) and move the mute button next to the VSA button. Also, if anyone can help with the manual intructions on how to remove the plastic shroud that would be great.
Thanks in advance...

Here’s the link for the cover. It is item #12, and comes in different colors. List price is $1.67, so don’t let your dealer try to rip you off.

I can’t put a picture in a post to save my behind, but here’s some instructions using the picture in the link and the service manual:
1. Remove Clip #14 in the picture
2. Remove the temperature sensor connector and air hose
3. Gently pull out the bottom of the lower dashboard cover to detach the pins, clips and hooks
4. Disconnect 3 more connectors on the left side
EDIT: I think I learned how to put a picture in. Here goes, but I still can't get the size right. It's on the right hand side of the page.
