Help! I can't get my verizon motorola e815 to pair with the HFL

I followed the steps outlined in the owners manual, using the voice commands, entering in the 4 digit code. I then followed the steps outlined in the motorla instruction book, went to connection-setup-find me.

When I do that nothing happens, the HFL just times out.

I did a search on verizon e815 and I didn't see any instructions on how to pair this phone with the HFL.

Any help would be appreciated.

First thing is to throw out your Motorola manual. It is the most worthless P-O-S I have ever seen. Try finding how to hear the various ring tones in the manual. I digress.

I've had my E815 for two days and had it up and running on HFL in about 15 minutes. First, go to your settings on the phone menu. The go to Network Connectons. I believe there are two selections, the top being Bluetooth. Click on that selection, and set the phone to "on." That will enable the phone to pair with other bluetooth devices - like your car and some Palm PDAs.

At that point I believe there is a setting called searchable or search. When you select it, then run the HFL pairing on the car. Should pair in 10-15 seconds and you're good to go.
