It may be that I am just too dense to understand it, but ive been reading the posts on here and at 12volt.com and I cant figure out what I'm getting in to. I already have the 5901 installed and works great. Now I'm looking to integrate the comfort closure feature. I have diodes in hand an d have turned on the feature through the 5901. I am looking for help on exactally which wires to hook to and how exactally to hook them. Which wires am I looking for? Which way does the diode face? and is the hookup a tap into or an actual cut of the wire and diode placed inline? I appreciate any help... thanks

i had the 5901 installed on my TL awhile ago. In order for the comfort closure to work, the wire for the driver door lock/unlock from the 5901 had to be connected directly to the doors lock/unlock wire.
