!!!!HELP!!..Cingular vs t-mobile and Phone selection

Hey
i know this has been asked before but i need a great reply reallllly quick by tonite or tommorow morning.
My family and I are choosing between Cingular and t-mobile for a family plan. Both the prices are pretty much the same i think Cingular is a tad better. Verizon i know has good coverage but is to much $$. So between the two telephoen companies which do you guys suggest in the NYC, NJ, and Balitimore MD area?(Four places in which the phones will always be used). I'm looking For the best coverage,, t-mobile is good but its iffy in couple spots in jersey.
Also i need to choose between the phones which is bluetooth compatible with the tl. The phone price doesnt really matter because in nyc u can practilly get them free.
For t-mobile the v600 is available which i think is the best choice but for cingular they dont even have it on the site anymore. So which flip phone would u guys use for them. ???

Thanks in ahead for your thoughts
V.V.
ps i need to know realllly quick

Cingular! In that area of the country T-Mobile and Cingular have comparable networks. Don't forget that Cingular is buying ATT and once the companies combine networks, T-Mobile's network won't compare.

Get the SE637, works well with TL.

I used flips exclusively but only SE makes phones that display all the info on the MID. I got the SE k700i and can't be happier! Battery life is shorter when BT is always on but that will happen with any phone.

I personally use T-mobile because the k700i doesn't work well on the Cingular network as it lacks 850. Also, you won't be able to use the V600 on Cingular as they pulled it due to poor 850 performance. I also heard that Cingular's cust. service stinks.

If you want the best reception in the NYC/NJ area, you'll need to look at Verizon but the only BT phone they have is the V710 which I find to be quite large and doesn't display all the info on the MID.

The V600 has been reformatted is now begun started to replace the old V600 with new V600's with customers and the new ones are now being shipped to retailers.

Also, once the merge of the Cingular and ATT networks are done, you are going to see a great deal of boost in signal quality. Remember, you can try out the service for a few days and can return the phones and cut your service if you do not like it. I dont remember how long they are but just ask then how long their "grace" period is for you to try it out and see if it works. All cellular companies do this.

Read my thread

I was looking into switching to Cingular because I wanted to keep my phone # but after researching among collegues/friends, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Several tried to discontinue during the "trial" period but kept getting switched from operator to operator then had to fax and mail letters and went through lots of aggravation for several months before finally getting things figured out. Happened to more than 1 person so I think that it's not an isolated circumstance. Hearing this was enough to convince me not to switch.

Get Cingular, they are buying ATT after that no one will compare as far as coverage.

and porting to ATT was effortless. Less than a day for everything.
