Headrest Screens
I'm looking to put a video system in my car, I want a pair of good solid 7" screens for my headrests and probably a single DVD in the glove. It's for the kids so I want good quality but I'm not entering any shows. I've got a couple of questions:
What screens do you have? Size?
Would you recommend them?
Did you install yourself or take them to a shop?
What DVD player?
Where'd you put the player?
What'd you do for sound?
What'd you pay (if you don't mind) for each:
Thanks in advance for any help!

We have headrest monitors in our Denali XL, and one in the passanger sunvisor. People don't like to watch the headrest and watch the sunvisor one. Might want to keep that in mind.

mounting bracket?? do you mean the shroud? yeh it was worse before though...its because the TL's headrest is tilted and kenwoods shroud is thin so it doesnt look flushed so i had them put the shroud on the inside of headrest but the corners still bulge out...

Nice job ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
.. I'm guessing all 4 screens are Kenwoods??
Also, how tight are your corners on the headrests? Are you worried that the strain will eventually rip the leather?

I'm running two 7" Savv LCd Monitors (www.savv.com) with (2) Clarion 6 DVD-Changers in the Trunk. Two kids two different personalites but there is 3 Video outputs so if they decide they want to watch the same dvd they can. I'll post pictures later tonight.
The Savv monitors have Wireless A & B for the headphones.

yes all four screens are kenwood
there are pretty tight....not really sure...hopefully i can find some used tl headrests if that happens later on....the installer used the spray glue on the backside and glued it to the shroud

I'm using a PS2 slim in the glovebox, 5.8" Alpine's in the headrests and a navi-screen conversion. Check out my setup at my website below. I did all the work myself. Very long, but lots of fun.
