Headlights stay on?
I was wondering if you can set the headlights to auto and have them stay on after you shut car off when it is dark. The RL has that function. The keyless entry has the "auto headlight off" in seconds, but that seems like it is for the setting if you turn it to "on" in the car.

The TL does have this feature, the lights need to be switched to "on" (not auto), when you shut the car off and exit they will stay on for the amount of time you set. When you lock the car with the remote simply push the button a second time to shut the lights off early.

The TL turns the headlights off even if you leave them in the fully on position. I do this and have done it with all of my Honda and Acura cars since '00--it is safer, because your taillights are on as well, and if it gives you even a 1% better chance of being seen then it's worth the minimal extra replacement bulb costs over the life of the car. The dealer was not aware of this feature, and apparently lots of people in the Baltimore area who drive their Hondas and Acuras with no headlights and taillights in the rain and fog don't know it either!

Thanks guys. I know if you put them to the "on" position it'll turn off automatically after you exit. There is a beep when you exit.
The AUTO position, however, turns on headlights automatically when it gets dark, so you don't have to worry about any of that. It also runs your DRL during the day. Is there a way to keep it on AUTO and have the headlights delay turn of after you exit the car?
