Head Unit not Responding

Head Unit not Responding
Wierd stuff, i go today to my local stereo shop to see what they think i need in the way of upgrades.
Then when i go to adjust the treble, bass etc ( like i've done tons of times before) the unit is non-responsive. The steering wheel controls work, the head unit does not. Can't power it off, can't do anything.
Anyone ran into this problem before? it is still under factory warranty as it only has 30k miles and is bone stock.

I think you might need to reset your car.... disconnect your battery for at least 30 minutes and then reconnect... make sure you have your Radio Code and Navigation code handy...
Good Luck...

Thanks for the quick response Rodney
Unfortunately the battery disconnect didn't work, i re-entered the radio code and still a problem.
I'm calling Acura Dealership tomarrow to get my 2 recalls taken car of, maybe they will be able to shed some light on this.
I just don't understand why some functions work and the others don't. Maybe something shorted out in the headunit.
Well i'll keep you guys posted.

Well it was working for the last 2 months, than i ran into the same issues once again. So luckily it wasn't working today when i took my car in for recalls.
At first the service advisor informed me since i had the USASpec unit and ran RCA's (Aftermarket) they would have to charge me $90 for diagnostics, i was caught a lil off guard by that. Turns out the Head Unit (Cd Player/radio) was at fault and i didn't have to pay the $90 fee.
I am curious though, Is it just a plug style adapter on the back of the CD/Radio unit?
I found some electric tape, look like it had been removed from something. I really hope i don't have to have my install people hook this up again.
