Congrats.

Try changing your location to "HI" on the Navi and see if that pulls up the local info on your existing DVD.

Otherwise, the Navteq site shows that Hawaii is covered on the current US disc, on sale for $99.

already tried changing the state location, and can't even select the H at all, and I did buy the 2013 disc last sep when I got the car.

Call Navteq to see how to access those maps.

I checked out of curiosity earlier this evening-- my 2009 version DVD doesn't have HI selectable as a location, and the Islands aren't visible on the zoomed-out screen either.

You might try popping out the Navi DVD and rebooting, in case the software is location-sensitive.

went ahead and upgraded the nav unit to a 07 tl, now I got Hawaii maps
