Hardwiring GPS

I would like to hardwire a Garmin Nuvi 350 to the fuse box in my 06 TL. I found a thread on the Amazon Garmin forum that stated that the person had used an add-a-circuit product and a female cigarette adapter. I have also noted the thread on this board that explained how to hardwire a V1 to the fuse box. Rather than just pushing the positive lead into the fuse box with the fuse, I would like to plug the add-a-circuit into a blank fuse location (aux maybe?) in the fuse box. I notice that positions 3, 31, and 33 do not have a fuse in them. Does anyone know whether they could be used? Thanks

Fuse 32 (aka remote turn on wire) is what you want. Just add a MINI add-a-circuit there are you can add an additional cigarette adapter.

More with a search, but most post to fuse #32. The third link has pictures.
