'04 TL Non-NAV and I have a Motorola Razr. I set up my phone with my HFL yesterday and it was working fine.. I was able to make calls and receive calls and such. Then today I hit the phone button and said "call *friend* and then it confirmed if I would like to call *friend* and I said yes and then it just froze. It never called the friend and "Phone" was there on the screen just frozen. I clicked the buttons on the steering wheel to try to stop or reset it but nothing happened. On top of that I wasn't able to switch to CD or radio. So I turned off the car and then turned it back on and it now said CD on the screen but the cd wouldn't play. Then I turned off the car again and on again and this time the cd player and radio worked, but when I pressed the phone button again it freezes all over again. Anyone know what this could be or best way to resolve it is?

 

There have been problems (and replacements) for '04's with faulty HFL units. Check this TSB to see if it applies:

well i went back to work and came back 4 hrs later and it seemed to work as if nothing even happend. o well.
