Hands Free Link problems
so I tried to link my smartphone via Bluetooth to my 3g TL, and this is what I got:
When I tried to delete the old phone links, it either wound up in an infinite loop and keep asking me if i was sure I wanted to delete; or it would just cancel out the handsfreelink altogether.
When I tried to link my new phone to the HandsFreeLink, it freezes at the point where the car tries to find the phone that's in "discovery mode". It completely locks me out of the radio and dash controls.
And when it did delete the olther phones, the audio voice would make a loud popping noise like someone's cell with a bad connection....\
I'm guessing I need a new hands free module, and I'm guessing its expensive. I did have a water leak that I just fixed on the d/s dash and windshield. i'm thinking i should dig up the Handsfree module and see if the connectors have water on them...What do you guys/girls think
Oh also when it freezes I have to disconnect the battery to get it to unlock...otherwise its stuck in PHONE and I can't use the radio
