I have a 04TL with Navi. I have a Android phone and was considering the Grom unit http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=14138 since I've head that the Isimple ISIM73 doesn't support the android. If I get this unit will the track, artist, info be displayed on my navi screen? Can I use the steering wheel to change songs? will these options also work with a flash drive?

With the ISimple ISIM73 I'll just purchase a used Ipod. Is there a connection with this unit that will enable me to use a flash drive as well?

 

No flash drive connectivity without some ingenuity. but you do have aux connections of a 3.5 mini and also rca's in addition to the iphone/touch/pod connection. Your idea of grabbing a used ipod is the best idea. Just load all your music connect it and never touch it again. steering wheel controls and display will all work.
