sone guy i know that comes to my pizzaria is parting out the aftermarket parts from his car. he asked me if im interested to buy the kickers he has in his car; hes selling them for 550 but said he will let me have it for 400. he is selling his box with 2 kickers - 2 - 10 inch solo baric competitive kickers, which he claims they push 1100 wats each.

i dont know anythnig about audio systems, so i came here to get some help from you guys. do you think this is a good deal, and are these subs real good high end subs? he claims he spent $1,000 for that set of 2. he also has a friend that is selling his audiobahn 750W amp, he has to get back to me with the asking price (what would u guys think is a good deal). would that be powerful enough to push those subs hard - how hard will they hit? the amp he has in his car now is pretty weak(350W), but those subs still f*cking hit pretty hard.

would i also have to buy an aftermarket receiver and speakers (i think he might have speakers for sale too), or would the stock ones be fine if i shut off all the bass and the sub from the stock headunit?

 

i was also thinking of going to circuit city and get a complete sound system and free install fro them. would $1,000-1,600 buy a hard hitting and loud sound system (subs,speakers, amp, receiver)?
