I get a message that says "you are using a disk that is older than the downloaded version" every time I get in the car. It came with a sleeve for a nav dvd that had a burned green day cd in it... so I am wondering what is the newest navigation disc I can get? And is that a dealer only thing, or can I do the data and burn it to a disk?

downloaded disks won't work really in 04-06 DVD units if yours is working You might have luck if it's a 07-08 unit.

Buy a pre-owned disk from ebay, way cheaper than acura. You can force it to upload an older version to the system in the hidden nav diagnostics menu.

Best to get an updated DVD. There are a couple of older threads here on attempts to burn a duplicate Navi disk, but IIRC, a ridiculous amount of work was involved.

You can probably find slightly older white discs for sale in the Black Market, on your local Craigslist or on E-bay for much less.
