General NAVI Question

I am seriously considering ordering my TL very soon. I have searched for answers without much sucess and maybe you all can help.

My question is: Can you input new locations to Navigate to when the car is in motion, while driving. The reason I ask is friends of ours have a new Lexus RX330 with navigation, and when we were driving, the RX would not allow input of any thing into the navi while the truck was moving (or below 3 or 5 mph). This was a major inconvenience. Is this the same for the Honda/Acura Navi? I hope this is only an anomaly that Toyota/Lexus products have. Any information is appreciated.

its not an issue, its to keep idiots from straying there focus on the road and trying to input things while driving at 70+mph and swerving into other people on the road. its a safety measure its not an issue. its smart. im surprised honda didn't take the same measure, but im happy that its like this but im sensible when it comes to using the navi.
