I never noticed this...but are the lights by the gear shift suppose to light up? There are the 2 blue LEDs that illuminate from above, but the ones around the shifter doesnt light up. I cant remember if those ever did light up.

are talking about the p,r,n,d and +, - ? if so yes i do believe mine light up. maybe urs are starting to go out my cruise control buttons on the steering wheel went out like 3k miles ago. only the cruise not the volume controls though i thought it was odd...

i thought it looked a little odd no being lit. my cruise cntrl lights are all out as well, just havent had time to change them out yet.
