I got my Galaxy S4 Active paired with no problem. Phone shows connected while in car. Phone rings over stereo speakers like it should, but when the call is answered, the phone switches from headset to phone and does not connect call thru the BT. I can hit the headset button on the phone after the call is answered and it will connect to BT. Is anyone else having this issue.

FYI... I tried using the search function for the forum but it is not working correctly right now.

 

So I understand... You say headset...you mean another BT headset paired at the same time as HFL or some headset plugged into the phone's headphone jack? Anything plugged into the headphone jack on my S3 renders HFL pretty much useless for me. But I may be way off wrt to your question.

 

I meant the button on the phone that says headset while your call is active. It is lit green like it is connected and when the call actually connects, it kills the "headset" (BT) and goes to phone. I have to actually wait until the call connects then hit the headset key to get it reconnected to BT.

 

Same thing happens to me with my gs3. It will revert back to speaker phone when the call connects but i am then able to hit the headset icon on the phone and the conversation is over bluetooth. Not that it helps but it makes me winder if it is phone related, specifically a samsung issue?

 

I know on my S2 there was an option for "always use headset when connected to one", but I cannot find any such setting on the S4A...
