I cant believe they dont cross-check the radio-id and the promotion code...

 

Sometimes I wonder about those people at XM. They sure don't sound like they know what they are doing. Oh, well, we benefit from their ignorance. Is this legal by the way?

is this for new subscribers only? i'm a current subscriber, so maybe that's why it didn't work. darn!

I'm current subscriber too. Called them and said got it in the mail can you add this on my account. They said sure and added till Sep 2006.

 

If they say no, just call again and hope that someone else will answer your call!

 

I'm a current subscriber with a two year contract already in place with my primary radio. I bought a secondary unit for my whole house audio. Used this code when I got my JC Penny email and was able to add this to my account for my second unit extending it for the additional year. This is legit but it ends TONIGHT. Would be SUPR nice if the moderators would delete this thread tomorrow so that those who missed out don't drive the rest of us nuts after the offer has expired (i.e. after tomorrow).

I am on the phone with XM right now, 4th person I talked too. They told me that he got a bulletin like 30 mins ago that all JC Penny upgrades had to go through the on shift manager. He said someone was scamming them on this promo code.

 

I just got denied 3 times also. The lady apparently cross checked the unit id and said that JCPenney does not sell Hondas, sorry! Oh well, it was worth a try....

i just called, n believe it or not, i heard the guy screaming in the back ground something..i couldnt tell what it was..but According to the girl..i went through n im currently waitin for my signal she said it might take about 30 min to n hour
