So it's been 3 years since the posting of kennyc's "Navigation Hack Guide: Welcome Screen Mod, Trip Computer, OK Button Nag Removal" sticky thread and I don't think he's been around lately to help any of us currently trying to attempt the hack. He did a great job compiling all of the info together, however as I've posted on the thread, some of the links under the "Tools that you might need" section do not work (they direct you to savefile's website which is currently under construction).

...Which leads me to my question: I have an '04 TL w/ V3.30f and require some of Kenny's modified patches including

HMIManager.zip
navi.zip

Does anyone have these files??!! I'm pretty sure once I have these .zip files I can perform the hack on V3.30f (correct me if I'm wrong). I appreciate any help! Thanks.

Hey man I still haven't had any luck but let me know how it goes when following post #6. I haven't come across that thread and I'll look into trying that method tomorrow.

 

Update: I have the hacked files for V3.30f. It comes with the blue/black swirl Acura picture. A big THANK YOU to redsox04tl!

There are files that work on versions 3.50 through 3.70 plus complete instructions. All links work as of today.

 

Yes, but we're referring to version 3.30 That site doesn't help us members with 3.30 because we still need patches for these files in order to perform the hack. Thanks anyway

 

I have files that go back to v3.40. I don't recall ever seeing anything earlier than that. Let me know if you want to try them.

 

there is nothing on that site for version 3.6 =\ only 3.5 and 3.7 and newer versions

 

Well thank you. But as I posted earlier, I'm good to go now I have the already hacked files for V3.30 and they work like a charm!
