I recently got a flip key for my 06TL. Everything works fine except I can not get the flippin thing to link to my memory settings. I keep getting the message that customization is not available until key is linked. I did a search on here and saw that I had to hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time to link the system. I tried doing this several times and I am not getting anywhere. I bought the key off ebay so it is not an oem key but it is supposed to work exactly like one. Any advice would be much appreciated

 

how much did the key cost you and how much did it cost to get it cut?

I dont have the answer to the original question though...

 

I got the key off ebay for $57. I took it to a local locksmith and he cut and programmed the immobilizer for $35. Total investment of $92.
