Hello all,
I just got a 07 Acura TL and I have a few questions:

1- I imported my phonebook in the Navi system and each time I get a phone call from someone in my phone book I just see the phone number, not the name of the person, it's hard to know who's calling. Is there any way to fix this?

2- My phone is a Blackberry Pearl. Each time I enter the car the phone asks me if I want to connect to the car and I have to press yes. Is there a way to have that done by itself without asking me?

3- It seems like no cds, dvd-a (either new or burned) display track title, artist or album name. Even when I burn a cd and I enter all the track names, it just doesn't show, is it normal?

1 --- It will only display #s, unfortunately no names.

2 --- This is purely your phone setting, my blackberry always connects once I'm in the car. See your settings, and make sure that you have actually completed the pairing, you should see the HandsFree Link TM in your phone.

3 --- When you burn, do you actually include text? DVD-A rarely have titles or txt written on them.... When you play mp3s cds do you see the text? Everything should work fine in a 07.

1. That sucks, I don't understand why something so basic was not integrated...

2. I figured it out, I just had to check the don't ask me again box...

3. I guess I was expecting my original DVD-As or cds to have text and titles.
I was able to add it to a cd I made.

One more question, is there a purpose to the 2 little blue lights on the ceiling by the garage opener buttons? They don't seem to light up much...

 

The lights are aesthetic only, for atmosphere/mood to match the blue lights in the instrument panel.
