Is it me or the factory alarm is only suppose to unlock and lock the car doors

 

The siren/horn should go off when you hold the panic button on the remote or if a door is opened from the inside while the alarm is armed.
Well or if its somehow opened from the outside without disarming the alarm..

 

the alarm doesnt sound at all it just chrips when i hit the lock button twice
