To everyone with bad HFL...

I guess we are screwed. If you tried everything suggested on this website and your HFL still doesn't work and you don't want to pay $500-$700 for a new module you are screwed after 2-6 years of ownership. I don't use the HFL that much but I am sure I paid for it--so I want to use it when I need it.

this sounds like a design issue and we are the patsies. A think a nasty note is in order. It will at least make us (me) feel better.

Scared of the path I am going down...

So, what did you try? I have held down buttons, removed fuses, disconnected the battery... and no luck. Some people say it will just "come back" but how long until that happens? Any feed back would be appricated!
Thanks!

I was told to pull fuses with the car running, but none of them (so far) has disabled the HFL on the dash.
