Ericsson Drops Out Of Bluetooth Development
In August Ericsson announced that it was not going to develop or design new bluetooth solutions. This link http://www.ericsson.com/bluetooth/ne...on=spec&id=629 to the Ericsson site attempts to suggest that Ericsson has not abandoned bluetooth. However, I would be interested in the views of the members of this forum on the implications of this announcement for bluetooth technology in cars such as the TL.

I thought I should provide this link which offers more information http://www.gsmworld.com/technology/b...74_oct2004.pdf Many of the articles I read before this post suggested that with Ericsson pulling out bluetooth was going to die. I would still be interested in the views of the forum members.
