I have an 07 TL w Navi and I'm loving it. My only question is are there specific types of CDs that the CD changer will recognize. The dealer explained that I the system would recognize some specific disk info and thereby display disk name as well as track info. So far, I have yet to be able to display ANY CD info.. This includes CD-Rs as well as regular copyrighted CDs. Am I missing something?

 

when you burn the cd, it has to have the ID3 tags on it, in itunes you can select in burning options for cd text.

 

Most regular audio CDs will not display any info... (yes, when you play on your computer the titles pop up, as your media player is fetching the info via the internet)

Like AJ said you need ID3 tags if you are burning mp3s/audio CDs.
