DVD+R for DVD-A?

I've been reading a lot about how people are able to make their own DVD-A disks with CD quality sound and thus fitting a lot of songs on one disk. Does this also work for DVD+R or only DVD-R? I have a +R writer and if this works I'm gonna have a huge smile on my face!

Check this post on DVD+R and has had success burning DVD-A discs. However, there was another post about DVD+R not being read by the system. The recommendation was to use DVD-R. PM the member who posted for more info.

I use steinberg wavelab....
DVD + R works great! I have multiple DVD's by artist, and divide into groups by album (you can get 9 albums per disk).
