DVD/Nav Switch for Don's TVandNav2go

I did a search for a DVD/Nav Switch for Don's TVandNav2go. I found the thread for the factory switch the has ben modified but is sounds like it is no longer being made.

Has anybody come up with a good solution? If so, let me know I would like to see it.

Thanks,

Joe

What are you trying to do? If you want to add a DVD player to the NAV system so you can watch DVD movies on youre screen, a place called Abt. in Glenview, IL has a switch I saw last summer. They would install the switch, a separate DVD player, etc. Total was $1,100. It wouldn't void the warranty either. Which I asked first.

I want to find a toggle switch so I can go the back and forth between the factory Nav and DVD. I have already installed the TVandNAV2GO. By the way the picture is incredibly clear.

I will post pictures this weekend.

I came across this picture last night while updating the Audio/Electronics FAQ:

If multiple members can create it, maybe its something you should try yourself. Here is the thread the picture came from: finished PStwo install

the switch list from acura is about $9. push on and off from radio shack is $3. super easy to make, takes about 10 mins, minus sanding and paint. another member airbrushed using testors flat black, i got ghetto and used a can of auto primer i already had. sand off the paint on the switch itself, get a sticker made (or do what i did, i printed to PS logo from the net, taped it to a sticker i had laying around and cut it with an xacto knife) pm me if you have any questions
