Is Acura TL iable to play sacd in format 5.1 ?

Our TL can only play DVD-A & DTS 5.1.

No, they are two completely different formats, kind of like BETA and VHS .

You can get players for your HOME that will play both DVD-A and SACD, but the TL will not. SOME SACDs will play in the TL, but not in 5.1--these are the ones that are hybrid discs, which will play as ordinary CDs.

I accidently bought a SACD disk (Elton John - Yellow Brick Road). It does play in the TL just fine, but does not reproduce 5.1 sound.

you must got a hybrid SACD... so it plays the normal AUDIO track

He does. I have that one on SACD and indeed it is hybrid.
