This thread inspired me to try DVD A...cool to have a few CDs in there with a bunch of songs. Slightly better sound than my phone playing 320 through lightning cable. Burning was easy on Mac with Max and DVD audiofile...used Sony DVD-R.

I'm interested to see if you get discrete 5.1 surround from the burned disc.

Not from a CD-->DVD-A unless you have something something that processes the 2 channel CD into 6 channel tracks. So Let's have a little spring fun.

I played around with the GUI last year and added Adobinizer support to it. So if you rip a CD to wav and feed them to an "Adobinzer" 2 Channel Source Disk in the new GUI you will get something "different" and maybe something you just might like.
