Dualdisc & DVD-A ??

Does anyone have any new info on whether these Dualdisc format discs will play in the TL DVD-A player? I'm getting conflicting info on this. In particular , I am interested whether the new Springsteen album will play. I realize it doesn't matter because the new album is being released as Dualdisc only so we would have the regular CD version but it would be nice to have the 5.1 version in the car also. Any info on this would be appreciated.

dual discs, as long as the DVD side is DVD-A will play in the TL. Some dualdiscs have DVD-V on the DVD side, and those will not play, you will have to use the CD side if you want to listen to the music

I guess you are talking about this cd?

If so I'm going to have to say that the DVD side will not work. Why? Because Sony sucks. Since Sony has their SACD music format (which our cars can't play), they currently refuse to release DVD-Audio.

Devil & Dust will not play in our cars thanks to SONY. And as AdamNJ stated - their hi-rez format is SACD (DVD-A's main competitor) and they still want to get in the mix with DualDisc. They're just a bunch of greedy corporate bastards that want another piece of the pie and f**k with the consumer.
