Dts To Dvd Audio ??
DTS TO DVD AUDIO ??
Is there a way to do this simply.
I know that we can play DTS, but i find annoying the BIG POPING sound that sometimes happen, like if a stone hit the windshield.
Is there anything new about this issue ?
Thanks

Actuary has been doing some good work on this and has some good progress. Try it out and see if it works for you.

Thank you, but may be i wasn't precise enough.
From a DTS CD, DVD AUDIO EXTRACTOR doesn't work, because it wants A DBD not a CD.
So wich soft should i use, i tried cd-da extractor but no results.

After I saw the thread title, I was all set to tell you that our systems can play DTS. But, now that I've read your post, I understand what you're saying and agree. The strange thing is that some of my DTS discs do this fairly regularly and others not at all. I've been assuming it's because some of my discs are in better condition than the others, but the snap is certainly jarring.

Has anyone come up with a good conversion utility to get the 5.1 wavs from DTS files ? I have many DTS titles I'd like to convert to DVD-A. Besplit does not work well for me.
I'm wondering if it might be fastest to first create a DVD-V image with the DTS audio files then use DVDAudio Extractor to get them back into 5.1 wav format.

I rip the DTS CD to .WAV files, use DTS Parser 1.0 to get a .dts file from the .wav, and then use azidts to convert those into 6 separate .WAVs. If you don't know what those programs are, try .
There are some DTS music CDs that DTS Parser doesn't handle, though, and I haven't found a way around it.

I have thoroughly gone over the previous threads and this one…awesome information…I have seen these floating around forever and finally got a chance to read them.
I dl’ed extractor and solo last night…everything worked great until the end…when I try to burn w/ solo it locks up @ the “72% completed” point. It has done this two times… not sure what is causing this…. : (

I'll use DVD Solo to create the DVD Audio iso file then use Nero to burn, Nero has a much more reliable burning engine.
