dropped calls HFL??

I have had no problems with my paired verizon e815 phone and the HFL until recently. Now it seems that when I get an incoming call, I press the TALK button and the display will show "IN USE" for a second and then drop the call and go to the normal MID display. Apperantly, the people on the other line can hear voices (the radio) and I can't hear them.

The other day, that happened then the whole system froze (kept displaying HFL, but unable to call, hang up, or use any of the HFL or voice command buttons). This doesn't happen EVERY time, but still often enough to upset me. Anybody else experience this??

Probably bad HF module. It will slowly get worse. When this starts to happen again, push the select button and see if the HF displays,"booting up". If it does, it is going bad. It should never say that according to Acura Tech people.

It might have to do with the ringer setting on your phone. I have a V710 with Verizon and if I have set on anything other than silent or vibrate I get the same issue. Try switching to vibrate mode and see if that clears it up.

I've had my E815 for the past two weeks, and am experiencing the same issue. I had a SE630 before the 815 that did not have that problem. I do have a mp3 that I emailed to my phone set as the ringer. I will set the phone to silent like you suggest to see if it clears up. Thanks.

You should not have to press anything with the phone set to auto answer. Had the same problem and when I took the auto answer off on the E815 and it stop doing that. The only problem is you hear the phone ring and you have to press the button to answer instead of the cool voice that says you have an incoming call and auto answer. STRANGE

I think it's something with the auto answer on the phone and the HFL in the car.

Funny thing is when ever the person calling calls the second time it comes through with no problem.
