Hey guys, just got my first 3g TL (04) and have a n00b question...I dont have the nav on mines, is there any after market double din radios that would fit our cars? I see it has curse and such and a normal double din will not fit becuase of this.

Sorry for the n00b question, just trying to be pointed to the right direction. Heres a pic of the cars

 

No aftermarket HU will fit in the dash without cutting and modifying the stock HU. The bottom DIN is connected to HVAC / NAV. Do a search some ppl have done it. As far as sound quality goes the stock HU is quite good.

 

Thanks Greg, yea seen a few converstions and looks like a mission lol...I will most likely keep the HU and see down the road if I do the converstion to navi at least...

 

Yeah not simple task but I'll probably end up doing the HU conversion myself and possibly dropping in an after market NAV. But it's not going to be for a while yet.
