Door Lock Settings
I am having trouble with my door lock settings. I read the manual to try fix it but it isn't helping.
I am try to set my settings so when I shift from park it locks the doors and when it shifts to park it unlocks the doors.
I have an 2005 3.2 Acura TL

Try pressing the MID "select," then "info" buttons to get to the Settings menus, per p. 70-74 of the manual. One of the settings is for auto locking upon trans shifting.

I don't have an automatic and so can't comment on the "park" thing, but, assuming the MID menus are the same for the 5AT as they are for the 6MT, it will be under the "Keyless Entry Settings" area on the MID. Use the right/left arrows to scroll through the MID until you get to "Keyless Entry," then hit the other button to select it and then scroll through the submenus until you find the right one. I have mine set to lock the doors when the car hits 10 mph and to unlock them when I turn it off (obviously, with the 6MT, there is no "park").
