Does anyone know how much a Nav2Go unit costs. Also what is the best price on the Dice unit?

I was suppose to order this stuff last week but im nervous. Everyone said that I could not integrate the Ipod Video and have text and keep my XM. Now im just worried about keeping my XM and watching movies from my ipod and external dvd player. Will these two units do what I need? Also, what will I be able to do with these two units?

I have engine noise can anybody help? When im play audio through the Dice I get engine noise. When I play regular CD and XM i hear the noise when i push the button initially but then it works fine. When I go back to the Dice whether it is looking at a video or listening to music I get engine noise. If i take the IPOD away I still get engine noise.

Any information will be helpful!

 

Check the harness, it may be bad or loose.

 

thanks Nick! I might have to set up a RMA. I think the entire unit is bad. I cant get consistant sound now. I dont even get the noise anymore. I did check the everything. it was lots of noise now silence. I made sure everything was connected and even taped the connections to make sure they would not come apart. I hope this RMA process goes well, I look foward to being able to happily use the product. On top of that I just ordered a cradle for it.

NO... that's where the Dom's Unit enters the equation...

the DICE is strictly for Audio and the Dom's Unit is for Video...

 

Not possible. You need a way to bring the video in from the iPod video. DICE is for audio only.

Search Dom's unit. There are a few other options as well.

If the cradle is coming directly from us, it's going to be a few weeks. We lost alot of stuff in the SD files so we are expecting a new shipment soon.

 

Thanks Nick, I contacted somebody today and did the RMA. I did some troubleshooting and found that it was the cable that connected to the IPOD. The Dice work perfectly. The cable did not fit into the IPOD securely; I tried three different IPODS. Can't wait to get this up and running correctly.

 

Does anyone know where to get a cable that interfaces between the two. Mini jack to Video. I was looking for a cable that did not have audio cables hanging off it.

 

You can use the same audio/video type cable that plugs into the top of the iPod. Or you can grab this for cheap...

But you can get a 3.5mm audio/video plug locally from Radio Shack and other electronics stores.
