Discovered New HFL/Bluetooth Feature
So, I was parked and wanted to use the Phone WITHOUT the HFL. I dialed normally, no problem.
I then wanted to put the PHONE in Speaker Mode, so I pressed the <SPEAKER> key.
The call transferred to the HFL.
I pressed <SPEAKER> again and the call transferred back to the phone.
(Using Sprint Katana II Phone. Don't know about others.)

I hope this works on mine!
Could be just a coincidence, I remember one time when I started the car, I was holding the select/reset button and my OK button got pressed on the Navi...it was weird.

This is off topic but I was running my car through the car wash, and I was standing inside the store watching the car get washed through the glass window. My phone rang, and I answered it, but the HFL outside in the car took the call. Pretty good range on that thing. :-D

You know what man, one of the things I DON'T like about the HFL, is that it is too powerful if you are standing within range of it, outside the vehicle like nyclio said! If you get out the car and you are close, you have to cut off BT on your phone to avoid not being able to hear when you answer it because the HFL will engage!

Just push the <SPEAKER> button on your phone.
Told you it was a handy feature.
Like TeknoKing said though, I should test it again, just in case it was a fluke.

Works for me with a TREO 650!!! and I got NBP LOL.......... and even better, if my Bluetooth is OFF on my cell and I make a call and while im on the call turn ON the bluetooth, it automatically changes to the HFL without any button to press.....took a couple times to understand.
The HFL really depends on how your phone manage the Bluetooth calls.

Yeah I discovered this a little while back when I was on a HFL call and hit the <speakerphone> off button and it transferred the call back to my cell phone...panicked for a sec thinking I had hung up the call.
Very cool feature

I'm going to have to try this later tonight. I hate telling the person on the phone to hold on while I press a button and say "transfer." Then I have to explain what I did and it just messes with the conversation.
