Disable Bluetooth/fix battery drain?
So I suspect my battery is draining cause of a bad Bluetooth. Does anybody know if it's possible to disable BT in the car?
I was looking at pics in this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...onsole-746609/ and was wondering if it's possible to disable BT by unplugging one of these plugs? https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...d2da277144.jpg Is the center component with the white tape the Bluetooth unit? |

... Is the center component with the white tape the Bluetooth unit? No, I think the center component part of the map lights is the Homelink opener system. In your photo, that tan plastic bezel/surround bolted to the roof contains the HFL unit. Post #212 in the thread above shows the bezel and unit. |

Yes, it's easy to disconnect the HFL/Bluetooth module-- see post numbers 212 through 222 of the following thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-b...-792642/page4/.
