Disable Bluetooth/fix battery drain?

So I suspect my battery is draining cause of a bad Bluetooth. Does anybody know if it's possible to disable BT in the car?

I was looking at pics in this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...onsole-746609/

and was wondering if it's possible to disable BT by unplugging one of these plugs?

Is the center component with the white tape the Bluetooth unit?

Yes, it's easy to disconnect the HFL/Bluetooth module-- see post numbers 212 through 222 of the following thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-b...-792642/page4/.

No, I think the center component part of the map lights is the Homelink opener system.

In your photo, that tan plastic bezel/surround bolted to the roof contains the HFL unit. Post #212 in the thread above shows the bezel and unit.

Thanks, took a bit a rooting around those thread links but I finally found a service bulletin with the write up on removing that overhead console.
