Digital output from headunit

Does anyone know what type of digital output comes out of the headunit? Toslink? Coaxial? ...... I'm deciding how to integrate the stock system with aftermarket equipment.

The 3 Audio Unit connectors are as follows as per the Acura 2004 service manual, chapter 22-391-395, viewed looking at the back of the Dash Audio unit:

Left connector C - 26 pin, has wires from dash unit to stereo amp unit for rear and door speakers, also contains signal wires from steering wheel remote switch.

Middle connector A - 20 pin, has wires from dash unit to stereo amp unit for subwoofer and front center speaker,

Right connector B - 14 pin(yellow arrow), all wires to/from XM receiver unit and dash unit.

Interesting, so how are people adapting these wires from the head unit to a line level converter with RCA connectors? Are they tapping into the Left connector C? I really do not want to use the speaker wires as hgih level outputs. Once the signals from the head unit are adapted to RCA then everything becomes simple.
