Did something stupid. Need help

Hi,

Me and a friend did soemthing stupid. I wanted to upgrade the speakers in my TL. So, i took everything apart, pulled the old speakers out and my freind snipped the factory speaker wire an inch from the connector. It turned out the the speakers were too deep. so i had to go back to factory. I want to take it back to the dealer. Where can i find factory wires? Hoping the dealer will not notice the splice if i do it further down the wire. any suggesstions?

thanks.

A lot of aftermarket speakers are deeper and require a space usually 3/4". Why not just build your own spacers or buy some spacers from a shop and install the new speakers? That or just take your car to a Tweeter or something of that sort. Why would you take the car back to the dealer in the first place if you want to upgrade?

P.S. Next time you should post in the Audio section of 3GTL as there are a lot more people that frequent there and can help you with your questions.
