Has anyone had any issues with your Dice unit when upgrading the firmware on your iPod Touch or iPhone? I was running 2.0 forever and it worked like a charm but I'm getting some weird issues with 3.0. It's been hit or miss (mostly miss though) but my Dice unit seems to be struggling to play songs off my Touch. When I check the music screen, it flashes from the "Accessory Attached" screen to whatever playlist I had open. It will play songs eventually, but it takes 20-30 seconds for it to start and it does not resume from where it left off.

I did a quick google search and saw that the BMW forums were running into a similar issue but I wanted to check here too. I shot Dice an email, and while other users are getting replies about how Dice claims to be working on something, it sounds like they're pushing this problem off and letting Apple deal with it in the form of an update (ie. 3.0.1, 3.1, etc).

Honestly, I doubt this problem with the Dice unit is high on the list of Apple's priorities with their iPod/iPhone line, and Dice should be more proactive about a workaround. I guess we Dice owners will see though....

On the bright side, it sounds like people running the 2.0-2.2 version of the iPod software are doing fine.
