DICE Adapter broke my Nano?

I had my Apple iPod nano 3G for a couple of months with no worries. I got my DICE kit installed on my 04 TL non-nav on Tuesday. Everything worked fine until yesterday after I unpluged it from the adapter. My iPod went dead! I tried to hook it up to my computer to recharge it via itunes with no luck. The iPod will be replaced by warranty luckily. Should I have any reason to blame the DICE kit or the install?

Problem solved. I took the ipod back to Bestbuy and they fix it. The tech said before I shut the car off, I should unplug the ipod. That could have caused it.
