In-dash DVD player

In-dash DVD player

what do you guys recomend for an in dash dvd player i have a non-navi but i want to install a dvd player where the factory radio is. will i still be able to use the controls on the steering wheel?

there is A LOT of threads about this active at the moment. just search and you will see what people are usually using. With some headunits you can get a module that will make your steering wheels controls work. hands Free will not work tho

kinda weird....but most people use the (Heres the weird part^)Myron & Davis 3/4 DIN DVD player.

you will need a video switcher/input device, such as the DOM's Nav2go device.
then to out put the sound, you will also need an audio out device, such as PIE x3 or the iSimple

that's a DVD player that connects to a factory NAVI that the OP doesn't have. He is asking about a different head unit I believe

OP should research in what he needs in a head unit. then needs to find a custom 2 din bracket.

Do you happen to have any photos of the install portion of your mod? I'm curious how you cut the cubby and supported the DVD player inside your consol? I'm doing a install and this spot is my only option for what I'm trying to accomplish. Any help or advice would be much appericieated!
