Damn Acura and their navi code BS!

Ok alittle annoyed... I just pulled the lining for the passenger side to remove the DVD unit in the trunk... Well I retrieved the serial number but when I logged onto acura to retrieve the CODE its asking me for the email, zip, and phone number of the original owner who first purchased the car... Is there anyway around this or do I basically have to go into acura?

Go to acura with your car, registration/proof of ownership and the serial number. They can give you the code right then and there since you have the car there and proof you own it. Some dealers will charge $$$ to get the serial number (labor to remove the drive) and give you the code however you already have it!

Just call Acura and they will ask your serial #, transfer the car into your name and give the codes to you. And it will be quick if you ever need them again. Just write them down and put them somewhere in the car.

Look in your glove box and in the handbook, the dealer may have written the codes on a card and slipped it in there, that's what they had done for me.

Found mines when I open the glove box, it's on the left side of the opening portion of the glove box. Has a white sticker on there.

Yep, look for a white sticker with 4 digits. Also it could be on the underside of the fuse box lid.

Alright fellas I tried lookin in/on the glove box nothing there the only thing I found which i knew was already there was a mechanics business card with my radio code written it on... I dont see a white sticker nor anything else with numbers written down for that matter...
Oooo and as far as the owner manual goes HA when I purchased the vehicle it didnt come with the owners manual but I did just register the car on the acura site and I ordered a owners manual.
Question: I registered the car with the VIN on acuras website so now I have an account there shouldnt I be able to retrieve the CODE because the car is registered with my info???

Assuming the dealership entered it into the system when it was delivered, it might be in there.

There was a button on the site for that purpose a couple of months ago-- you'll need to select that button, then send Acura some info (which you already have) so it will e-mail the code to you.

The owner site also permits the car owner to input the navi and radio codes as part of the vehicle profile.

I just checked-- it's still on the top, right hand side/column of the "My Acura" website.

Only if you typed normal and used complete sentence would you have found the code 2 years earlier.

Only if I fed you a can of STFU would I have not wasted my time reading your reply. Is that a complete sentence you can comprehend? I even used Caps and indented after my periods, and question marks. WOW
