you would have been better off buying some custom enclosures from Uncald4. They are amazing.

If you are gonna make them in a way that they are aimed correctly they its worth it....but if you are just making an enclouser for the speakers and leave them stock positioned then i dont think its worth much. A well sealed door can do just as good.

I'm a little confused. Are you making custom enclosures for your speakers or subwoofers? From this last post I kinda think you're doing subwoofer enclosures. Ported fiberglass sub enclosures? In the cargo net area? Facing forward?

Hey buddy give me a good price on custom sub enclosures for a 2005 TL in each corner of the trunk for Boston G5's 12" in them.

Just my

I have 1x12" (Crappy MTX 5500) BUT, after I built a vented fiberglass enclosure for that I vented through the decklid (where the factory sub was located) and my system pounds....

Mine sub fires toward the rear.....

Unless you are putting the 4 subs in your backseat I recommend that subs always fire to the rear of the vehicle...
When facing forward you to have a much closer ratio of cone area to cabin airspace since the rebound of the sound waves does not occur until after it passes by your ear and hits the windshield.
