Create Audio DVD from Itunes library

I don't know if I'm trying to do something that's impossible. All I want to do is take a playlist that I have in Itunes and create an audio DVD that I can use in my 06' TL. Is this possible with Itunes, freeware, etc. ?

Also, please don't tell me to search as I've been all over this forum, Google, etc. for the last 24hrs and I haven't found anything that will allow me to do what I'm asking. Again, I'm not trying to make a DVD-Audio which I believe is what Audiobeman (sp??) software does.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Cannot be done directly. See my answer to where you posted the question in the other DVD-A thread.

If it's not DVD-A Formatted/Authored, the 3G TL will not recognize it.

Adobeman is the person you want to look up on the forums

He made a 2.0 to 5.1 converter, as well as an Audio-DVD creator.

Hope it helps

There is a program called audio-dvd solo that will allow you to make dvda disks. I think the cost is $44.00. Other than that I have not found a program that will do the job.I also do not have that fine ear for music and find that the Dolby system in the TL does a pretty good job of providing the fake DVDA sound on its own, which is not all that bad

Good luck

You just have to call his name and he magically appears.

Watch... "Hey Adobeman!!! Can you help this guy out?"

[whooshing sound....] Did somebody say may name ?

Cute. Definitely gave me a giggle.

I did try and play around with some of Apple's Itunes APIs to see if I could grab an Itunes playlist and use the file contents (paths) to build a group set for my GUI. The concept was go create a playlist in Itunes and then my GUI would be able to find and use it. I would use Itunes encoder to convert to wav and make an ISO via my tool. I never did get it working.

Sorry.
