I had 3 months free on my CPO TL. I think that's the standard. Also, I let it run out, and within a month I got a flyer in the mail for $77 a year.

Not sure on CPO cars, but for new vehicles, the subscription is 3 months. I was actually under the impression that CPO cars did NOT get the same trial period? Hm...maybe it was a dealership perk. Either way, should be 3 months...! Congrats on your car purchase by the way!!!!!!!!!!! Good choice on the 6mt!

I've always assumed that the previous owner paid for a certain amount of years, and when it runs out it runs out!
I bought the car in feburary and its still activated.
I guess you could always call and inquire, but with my luck they would find out and cancel it!

I bought a Jetta from a local no-haggle dealership and a year and a half later when I traded it in for my 06 TL the XM was still working. The only thing I could think was it either had a lifetime subscription or multi-year and the previous owner just never called XM to cancel it. I've had my CPO TL for over a month now and the XM subscription is still going, so I figured its the 3 months trial. I'm also going to let it cancel and try out the $77/year deal. I don't listen to it enough to justify the real price.
